License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. How to handle multiple roof heights in Story Settings in Archicad?

Hi all - I am working on a residential project that has varying roof heights. How do you handle different roof heights in Story Settings? Also we have a portion of the home that currently has a roof that will be removed and then a new story will go above that where the old roof once was. Can someone point me to a good tutorial or help page on this subject? Thank you!

Roofs can be at any height you like within a storey.
You then have Floor Plan Display options to set if you want to see them on the storey/s above or below.
So place you roof in what you would consider to be their home storey, and set the height and FPD options as you require.

As for the new storey, I like the KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) rule.
One storey for each floor level.
Some like to add storeys for foundation walls, ceilings, roofs, etc., but I think this just over-complicates things.
It may mean that you need a few more layers to turn things on or off however.
You have to find the way that works for you the best.
