Is there a way to turn off the chirp sound in ArchiCAD 9?

We listen to iTunes on our office computers while we work. Because we listen to iTunes we have the volume turned up on our computer speakers. Unfortunately, this means that every time ArchiCAD makes the chirp sound it blasts everybody in the office.

We would like to know if there a way to turn off the chirp sound in ArchiCAD 9 independent of our computer's volume control? Perhaps something in ArchiCAD's preferences or work environment.

If not we think that there should be a way to turn off the chirp sound in ArchiCAD?

If you are on Windows, go to Control Panel > Sounds and Audio devices and edit in the list on the sounds tab. You can alter or turn them off (under the sounds pulldown, select (none) ).
