Isolate Door Leaf / Panel

I saw a clever trick therivitkid did on Revit to isolate the door panel / leaf and then export it to Twinmotion to use door swing animation. I I tried to play around to see if it was possible in Archicad. It works to a degree, but it was swinging the whole door package. I tried exporting it different ways, by layers, by element etc. Non seems to work correctly.
