Is there a way to label more than one object with the same label? Or to rephrase, a way to have 2 or more arrows go out from the same label? I have a workaround, but... it's a workaround.
...or should this be an item for corssed fingers and hopeful wishes?

The only way that I know for adding a second line to a label is to use the line tool. I have a line with an arrow (saved as a favorite) that matches my label tool settings. It's a relatively quick and painless method.

Must've missed the wish but took care of that (thanks Djordje). Guess I'll be using lapishawaii's method until then (thanks for the idea).

I use the label tool twice, or more times if several arrows are needed.
Just type an empty space and all you get is the label arrow. If you don't type anything it doesn't work.
