Level tool for Objects?

Anonymous
Not applicable
I use the level tool to show the vertical elevation of the various slabs in my plan. By using the 'graviate to slab' and the 'level' tool the various evelations are shown. What I am trying to figure out is if there is some way to show the top elevation level of objects, such as a counter, or the top elevation of say a wall. I would like to show the top elevation in the regular 2d 'above' view, not a elevation or section view. Is there some way to do this?

Appreciate any clues.....

You can't use the Level Dimension with an object (in the way that you want) -- you can with a counter, if you model the counter out of a slab. Someone on this forum created a T.O. Wall Label -- I recommend doing a search.

i guess it would be pretty easy for a GDL guru to script a label to show the 't' value of an object, no?

i'm a GDL klutz so i wouldn't know where to begin. and you would have to ensure that the 't' value of an object is actually the 'top' of the object and the level that you want . . . ?
