Lines Showing through in 3D Model

I added rafters underneath the roof, but when I am zoomed far away, the lines of the rafters show through. When I zoom in real close, they go away. I am trying to figure out how to remove these lines, but I haven't found an answer. Changing to a Vectoral Display gets rid of the lines, but the building loses its textures and isn't as presentable as the one in the OpenGL setting.

Really, the problem comes with the 3D line settings for the objects. Is there any way to turn these 3D lines off in the 3D view? I know there are settings to adjust the colors, but I want them off.

In the 3d window settings, there is a setting for quality of contour lines, including off, however this will switch off all element edge lines in 3d.

Are your rafters modelled right up against roof cover element? Maybe allowing a minimal margin of clearance between the two might solve the problem.

While you are in the 3D Window Settings dialog box, try changing the Contours from Draft to Best, it might help.
