Marqueed selection in 3d

Hey All,

Seems that i remember using in archicad that when you Marqueed a certain portion of your plan and when you show it in 3d, all elements outside the marqueed selection will be "cut". However, i tried recently and it doesnt work anymore. I tried adjusting the filter selection to be entirely inside, it still doesnt come out.

Am i missing something? i was searching the forums for some hints or even solutions but it seems that i can't find anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

erm..

i apologize everyone, i think i found the solution.

It is somehow accidentaly turned off through the view> elements in 3d view> filter elements in 3d, then check the box for the trim elements inside the marquee...
