Mirror a copy and Duplicate one

Will be these commands from 7 available in 8?
I cannot switch to 8 without then

Does the new drag-copy work for any windows users out there. It looks like the Apple users aren't having any problems. but mine does not. If I hit Control, it works. But, of course, it supposed to be alt not control that we use now. Alt doesn't work at all on mine and control works but if I hit it inadvertantly, I can't release it from that copy mode no matter what I hit. The multiple drag does work still (alt+control+drag), just not the single copy. Am I the only windows user having this problem or is this a bug?

Yep.

Start the Drag (Rotate, Mirror ...) command, hit CTRL for ... a copy, CTRL ALT for ... multiple. If you hit CTRL first, and then ralize you need multiple, just hit ALT after that.

Works nicely on W2K and XP, regardless of the keyboard setup and CapsLock (usually off in my case).

Thanks for the reply, Djorde. But wait a minute. I thought that in 8.1, we are now using alt instead of ctrl to drag a copy. Everything you describe is the way that I perfectly, without any problems, did in in 8.0. 8.1 is what I'm having problems with now, maybe I need to reinstall it

Maybe it is different in the US?

I am just publishing some stuff (2AM, duh ...) and I did a lot of copying tonight - CTRL for ... a copy, CTRL ALT for multiple.

Did not touch the shortcuts. Out of the DVD box.

No problem about the spelling, I am used to it

Ok, are there any US version Archicaders out there that are having the same problem as I am on the Windows version? Or do I stand alone with this problem? If so, I'll reinstall.

Thank you SOO much u guys for covering this. I have one other question- u covered mirror and copy to multiples. Have we lost the ability to copy with the rotate command??

No, the "Rotate" command/pet pallete works with the "Ctrl/Cmd" and "Alt" key functions as well.
