Model MIA in 3D Window

I was scrolling forward in the 3D window when, all of a sudden, the model dissappeared!

Now I can't seem to find it. Ctrl shift f3 has lost track of the cameras location and even showing a selection/marquee doesn't work either. I ofcourse scrolled backwards but still no luck.

What I want to know is, where did the model dissappear to and how do I get it back?
