Now in v18 I do the same but only one (last selected) is changing. Rest remain the same. Do I miss something here? I have hundreds of objects I have to modify (only so slightly). I can Select them alright, but modifications have to be done one by one. Help?

If so then they should all change.
If they are different objects then they will only change if it is exactly the same parameter among all the objects.

It is working for me in 18 with no troubles.
If you select just 2 or 3 objects is only one still changing?

But I am still not having any trouble changing any of the parameters for multiple objects at once.
Does it make any difference if you select them all in plan or 3D?
Barry.

Is it just one file or all files?

1. It does not matter is I select them in plan or in 3D.
2. All files
3. Nothing is locked.
So I did a bi more digging and discovered the unique conditions of this problem and the solution. First of all I'm using steel beams objects serving as columns rather than columns objects. Reason is very simple. I need them slanted at the top and column objects don have that functionality at all (pity). so all of those beams are at the 90 degree angle.
This is happening only when the angle is exactly 90 degrees.
The work around then is:
1. Change the angle to whatever that is not 90
2. Change the Length (width actually ;D)
3. Change the angle back to 90 degrees.
Thank you all for your help.
