Here's an update on a previous thread for Mac users and a workaround.
There are still issues with dialogue boxes - everything. Including properties, layer manager, etc. - appearing on the laptop display when plugged into an external monitor. On previous versions of macOS, if you right click in the dock on Archicad, you could assign all windows to the secondary screen. Unfortunately this is no longer an option with the new OS, so now all of the pop up windows are forced to the laptop or main display rather than opening in front of the Archicad window and need to be moved manually.
Here's the workaround. In system display settings, set your external monitor as main display. This will force all boxes to open in front of Archicad on your monitor.
