Offset does not work - neither from PET palette nor

Hi.

I'm trying to offset a rectangle I drew in ArchiCAD 18.

First of all, the PET Palette does not show me the Offset option, only the four (move, rotate, mirror, multiply).

Not like in this forum post: offset command

Also, if I go to edit and offset in the menu, ArchiCAD asks me to pick a reference point and regardless of what I choose, nothing happens.

The rectangle is only offset on three sides, not all around?

Cheers,
Eirik

I think I found the answer.

I had drawn the rectangle with the line tool, so it was only a grouped collection of lines.

When I drew the rectangle as a Polyline, everything worked as should.

Eirik:
It will work with grouped lines, but you must
"Suspend Groups"

Edit> Grouping> Suspend Groups
