PDF into PM 9.......NOT!

Hey GS,

While it is a welcomed improvement to have the ability to paste RTF (Word) into PM, especially for long form specifications, and the word processing is a nice touch.

But for GODS SAKE, when will you EVER implement the ability to import PDF files into PM. Every-time we need to make a change in and original file, like specifications that has been placed in a PM layout book, we will have to paste a corrected version of the file in the layout......this is a joke at this point.

I keep reading here how productive AC 9 is going to "make" us. I see some real improvements to be sure, though I have just got my hands on it for eval purposes, but this feature oversight is quite disappointing. What is especially odd, is that it does not take much effort to find several polls and wish-list topics in this forum asking for this frequently requested improvement.

What about Revit?! I'm not sure what Revit has to do with GS making any decisions. I'm only guessing, but with the acception of staying current with the latest dwg in/out add-ons, I'm not sure GS is worried about what Revit has or does not have in it.

......but back to not having PDF import into PM, I'm guessing you would like to see this feature in PM?

nope. No import of PDF into Revit, just export. PDF to JPG, then import works....
