Pet palette does not show the description of each action

Hello,

I have a problem with displaying the description of each action at the pet palette. For example, as you see on the img attached, if I hover my mouse over the mirror it does not show it also. It only has a small box with no text within. On the other hand I have tried to hover at other things like the tracker and it show the description as it should be.

I've tried to look it up at the Dialog Boxes and Palettes but I cannot seem to find the right option to deal with. My hinch is that it has to do with the GPU, but I am not sure.

I know that this is a minor thing, but please let me know if you have encountered it before.

I've not used AC on Windows in several years now... but back when I did... the behavior that you illustrate (a lozenge shaped thing appearing instead of the tool tip) - was a result of the Windows text size having been modified in the system settings from the standard 100% to something else - like 125%, etc.

The solution back then was to change your system appearance settings back to 100%.

[Off topic: at the time - AC was the only app that had problems at other than 100% size that any of us talked about. Since then, I've found that recent versions of QuickBooks for Windows also will not display itself properly other than at 100%.]

Thank you very much for all the effort and information that you have provided.

Cannot check it right now, as it requires to restart windows. But I will do it as soon as I can. But it seems that this is the solution!
