Project Indexs

In Project Indexes, what is the difference between Drawing List, Sheet Index, and View List? My Drawing List should include a Cover Sheet with a Drawing Index on it. I included a Drawing with this name, but the Layout has a huge space in front of the Layout Title. How can I remove this space in front of the Layout Title? How can I get a Drawing List to be automatically associated as a Project Index? I have included a Site Plan in the Sheet Index, but it does not show up in the Drawing List. Does this drawing: Site Plan have to be inserted or listed in both the Drawing List and the Sheet Index separately? The View List includes the Cover Sheet, but not the Site Plan, does the Site Plan also have to be added Manually here? The View List includes a Door and Frame Schedule and a Window Schedule. If I want to add another schedule from those automatically created, how do I properly link it?

Basically in ArchiCAD we make views of our model (i.e. plan, elevation, section, detail, 3D, etc), then we place them as drawings onto our layouts.

What you are after is a layout index, not a drawing index. All indexes are automatically linked to the project.

I think what you are after is more like the Sheet Index. It can list all sheets in your layout or all sheets published, by master, or by subset.
I think this is a good idea but limits me as I have a template file which contains many layouts that may not get plotted. There is no way that works to list only the sheets used in a project unless you publish them.
You need to direct it to a folder before you can publish it. Takes some of the automation out of it in my mind. It would be helpful if you could chose which sheets to be included.
