Hi All

Not sure if this has been covered before. I couldn't find it by a quick search.

There has been an 'undocumented change' (although it is now documented) in ArchiCAD 18 related to the Project Preview image size. It used to be that the recommended image size for the project preview was 128x128 pixels.

To align this with BIMx, these image settings have now changed:

- The recommended picture size is now 320x240 pixels
- The ratio is 4:3. ArchiCAD will crop the inserted pictures to this ratio. If the picture is higher the top and the bottom of the picture will be cropped, if the picture is wider the left and right side will be cropped.
- In all cases the available space will be filled, so the picture will be enlarged or reduced.

I hope that saves some people the time that it took me to find out!

Cheers,
Link.
