RCP in Archicad

How would I go about creating an Rcp in archicad 29? I would like to show furniture on this RCP also, so please let me know how I would go about doing this in the best way.

Hi,

I usually make a new view, raise the floor plan cut plane, edit the range of visible elements from the same spot.
Make a new graphic override so that everything secondary is in smaller pen weights and lighter colors. Make new layers for their respective annotations, dimensions etc. 

If I need a grid ceiling I usually model it with curtain wall. 

Everything will work with scheduling, etc.

The 'proper' way is to right click in the floor plan and save as a 3D Document.

Then in the 3D Document settings you can set it as a reflected ceiling plan and adjust the cut plane heights.

I have never used it so can't recommend any particular settings.

But as you are wanting to show furniture as well your offset and cut plane will basically need to be at floor level.

Or you will need to start overlaying furniture plan views in your layouts.

Personally, I would just create an extra floor plan view and set the layers (furniture) that you want to see.

I never have figured out what the fuss of an RCP is.

I think it just has something to do with the display of the door and window openings and stairs.
