I have been getting this unwelcome report that pops up when I switch from perspective to floor plan view, anyone have an idea why? see screen shot:

I'd guess Archicad does not like a setting in your railing object.

Yep. Either a parameter setting is making part of the railing impossible to model (usually a self crossing polygon) or there is something wrong in the script (besides a lack of error handling).
