After working o a file for some time I will tell the system to save as a new version "Filename ver 105."
I have done this be fore and the file I am working in will show I am now in that version Same in word, Autocad, Adobe and any product I use.
Up until recently Archicad also.
Now it just saves a copy and leaves me in what is now the old version.
Why the change???
Operating system used: Windows 11

Are you sure you are saving as with the .PLN file type?
If any other file type, it will simply save that file with the different file type and keep you in the .PLN as you describe.
Barry.
