Searching by Composite

There are many criteria by which one can search in the Find & Select dialogue box. One that is missing is Composite. I want to change one particular composite in my model. I could use the Attribute Manager, but F&S would often be much quicker and is more powerful, in that it can be combined with other criteria, such as layer.

the 'composite' can be set from the "Fill" criteria:

choose to select from "All Types" and use just the one criteria: "Fill". select your composite in there. that ought to do it, no?

Ben,

Thanks for the heads up. Actually, you can select Walls and then add Fills as a further choice, and only wall type fills will show in the choices, including composites. If you choose Fills as the main criteria, then Fills as a sub-choice, only 2D fills show. Works just as I wanted.

Regarding the poll . . . never mind.

i suggested using "All Types" because i obviously didn't know what your composite was - you could've been using it for slabs and roofs as well . . .

find and select is a pretty powerful tool . . .
