Sections and hatching

How do I get some kind of pattern to display on the beam incircled in red, I need to look like it is cut? The view is a section Or is the problem whithin the section-settings?

I`ve tried almost everything, but it just won`t appear as cut. 😞

I think you're right, I think it's going to be the Section Settings. What do you have under "Section Settings - Model Display - Cut Elements - Fill Cut Surfaces with"?
But it could be also Graphic Overrides. Try changing your GO combination to "No Overrides" and see it it changes anything.
