Setting up sheets

Not applicable
What is the most effective way to set up sheets so that all of the plans 1st floor/2nd Floor/ Roof all end up in the same place on each sheet. Every time I drop them in, they always go to one corner and not to the center of the sheet like our office standard is set up right now. Thanks.

There are several ways to do this but it would be helpful to know the version of AC you are working on. They will not just plop into the right place automatically though.

I'm working with Archicad 1114.

In AC 10 I used to just put a hotspot in one corner of the drawing on the 1st sheet and then copy & paste it onto the other sheets. This works as long as the extents of the drawing frame are the same. In AC 11 you can set up your 1st sheet as a trace reference and then just line them up.

Set up one layout as you want it.
Go to the next layout.
Right-click on the first layout and choose "show as trace reference".
