Show R.O. in Section & Elevation in Storefront Window

I have a 2" frame with 1/4" shim space all around. I can not figure out how to have the frame show as well as the rough opening in Storefront Window 19 in elevations and sections. The black dots indicate that the information is there but not visible. See screen shot. The rough opening is shown in Plan View if the window representation is Symbolic. Am I missing something or is back to 4.5 techniques?
