Spontaneous combustion

Well spontaneous layer visibility anyway I feel like I am about to spontaneously combust sometimes I have a layer set up for ceilings where I put all my ceiling slabs and cornices. I am finding recently that it is often turning itself on for no aparent reason. Just now I was working with floor slabs and when I went to 3D view the ceiling layer turned on and wouldn't let me turn it off. I went back to floor plan picked my default layer group that has no floor layer or ceiling layer turned on then turned on the floor slabs layer again went to 3D and voila there are the ceiling slabs again! Weird! Reopening the file seems to rectify it for a time but it seems to be a randomly reoccuring issue.
