Stair stringers and reference line. - Help

Does anyone know how to place the stair stringers inside the reference line of the stair (blue line)? Archicad automatically places them outside the reference line. The stair should measure 1000 mm from the external stringer face to the external stringer face, but I had to set the width of the stair to 940 mm in the settings panel to achieve this. This makes it very difficult to draw or place the stair in Archicad.

Any help or advice would be more than welcome.

All the best Archicadianos!

I agree, the 'stair width' should include the stringers.

To set the baseline (reference line) to the outside of the stringer, set a negative stringer width in the baseline offset (-30 in your case).

You still have to reduce the stair width by 2 x stringer width.
