Transforming BREP Component into mapable Component for Structural Analysis

Hi all,

Here I have attached snap of an component before and after we transformed the Class of the Component from IfcBuildingElementProxy to a IfcPlate.

But the Geometry of the Body which was modelled in Archicad is transformed into BREP (containing extrusions, lines, triangular mesh, etc.,)

BEFORE (received as IFC generated from Archicad):

AFTER (transforming IfcBuildingElementProxy to a IfcPlate):

Issue:

Now since we understand BREP when tried integrate into Structural Analysis Software, it becomes too complex to map the component into a simpler geometry.

Question:

How can we simplify the geometry of the component, such that it does not cause "IfcFacetedBrep" error in Bentley Synchroniser Software (IFC to ISM converter)?

Any help with regards to developing a work flow to counter this issue would be helpful.
