Is there a way to "trim a wall" to a long stair, with several landings, as can be done with a "trim to roof" command.
Yes the work-around of sectioning the wall to landings and slopes that are then aligned with a roof so that they can be 'trimed to roof' can work, BUT ?
archimax,
I downloaded both of your files and found both of them empty.
They were both 4 Kb and were .pln files not .pla which they
would have to be to contain the stair object you are talking about.
Sorry,
Peter Devlin
oooooooooooooph..... I've cleared up the puzzle!!!
The problem was in bad parameters of the railing. Turning the railing elements off has cut the wall at once! I haven't found the definite parameter guilty of my problems... but now it doesn't matter, I'll use Stairmaker next time ))))
P.S. I don't know why there were problems with downloading the file... And there is no need in PLA if you have Archistair, because it uses its own library. Anyway thanks for help and trifling away your time
