Version 11 to 23/24

Hi All
So I finally just did the big upgrade....version 11 to 23, and in a few weeks when the crush to download 24 is over, I’ll get that too.

So of course there are a million new things I’m finding...crazy Renovation that apparently was introduced in version 15... and every dang element has to have a classification for that. Are they assuming all projects are Renovation? Is it possible to turn that off completely for an all new project?

If you don't want to use it you don't have to (I don't).
Just make sure you have a renovation filter that "Shows all Elements".
There should be a default one for this.
Make sure all of your views are set to use this filter and nothing will ever be hidden or overridden.

There is also a command Reset Renovation Status... that allows you to change all the Renovation Status of elements at once.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
