Very slow copy in AC11

We've just migrated from AC10 to AC11 and notice that the copy (ctrl-c) is extremely slow if we work in files started in AC10 or before. If I resave as AC10, and then work in AC10, there's no problem with speed in AC10.

We've tried the ArchiWiki suggestion for a similiar AC10 problem solution to edit the registry (copy to picture) without any luck.

Any suggestions?

I have been waiting for an answer as well.
It was a problem in AC10, but the latest hot fix made copying a little faster, still not fast enough though, even for a single wall.

I am sure there is a developer willing to explain the whole programming language behind it.

My suggestion :

All projects started in AC10 : keep them in AC10 !!! I've had several issues with projects migrating from 10 to 11 and from what I've been reading in this forum, I'm not the only one .

Lets hope transition will improve in further upgrades.
Don't worry : all projects started in AC11 are doing fine, up to that point my one man office reaches of course

A solution found - Hopefully
With no solution in sight, I decided to reformat the hdd of one of the pc's (very painfull 😞 )
With just ArchiCad11 and other basic programs installed, everything seemed fine, when I opened up older projects (started before AC10) - That was until I enabled the dual screens. With a clean system, latest patches running and screens laid out as I like, the speed of copying was just as before 😞 .

After trying a lot of options (feeling a bit despondent), it seems that the speed issue disappears if I close the [Navigator - Organizer] window. This window is very useful to have open if you have dual monitors. Seems to solve the problem on both pc's. The reformatting was unnecessary, although it did isolate one issue. 🙂 . Why it is so, really baffles me.
At least I can now finally work on AC11.
