Hi,

I have a mesh following the countours of residential stand. Is it possible for AC to tell me the volume in cubic metres of the mesh?

Many thanks,
Henry

Henry:

Yes, open the Element Information palette and select the Mesh.

For more information with images, go to Help > ArchiCAD Help, when your browser opens click on the "Search" tab, and input "Element Information" in the search box, in the results list "Element Information" will lead to detailed information.

Hi,

Many thanks, can't believe it was that simple! But... it gives the volume in m² and not in m³

Is that a bug or am I missing something?

Seeing you are from South Africa, perhaps you have a different country version? For instance, it may work in our US version but not in your ___ version?

And to double check you have the proper units set up, you can check that under Options>Project Preferences>Calculation Units & Rules.
