Walls Under Stairs

While working with stairs In ArchiCad 8 I can't seem to figure how to use the wall tool to draw a wall that works with the stair tool ie; conform to the parameters of the stair and not show through it. Any suggestions?

You can trim the wall using SEO to the underside of the stairs.
