Walls Untrim to Roof overnight

Anonymous

I have trimmed five roof segments to a dormer roof, only to find that the mysteriously "untrim" themselves. I have redone this several times, looked at the rendering and everything is okay. Then, later, when I look at the rendering, they are again "untrimmed". Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can copy, drag and rotate 'til the cows come home, but unless you take the operators with them, they will always revert to their original shape.

What you have to remember with SEO's is that you are creating a relationship that will (usually) last forever. Even if you moved the operators and targets 1,000,000 miles away from each other, they will still have that relationship.

So when you drag copies of the walls, you need to drag copies of the operators too. You need to drag copies of the 'relationship'.

Cheers,

Aha...
I have answered my own question. You can drag/copy, multiply, rotate, etc. an SEO, as long as you move the target and the operator at the same time. If you move a wall (the target), out from under the roof (the operator), the wall reverts to its original height.
Interesting..
