Walls & Columns will not trim

I have a problem with walls and columns not trimming. I am working on a church project. Some walls will trim to roof. Others will not. What am I missing? ?

Turned out to be duplicate walls and columns where I was having problems. Got rid of the dupes and then all trimmed perfectly.
