Window opening in 2D

I am using a corner window with one side opening as a door- is there any way to show the opening in 2D?

I presume you mean the display of the swing-line on plan.

Unless the window you are using has a setting that allows you to specify the opening direction, the simplest way may be to just use an arc and a line, and maybe use a fill to cover the bits you don't want to show.

Attach a diagram or sketch if this is not what you needed to know!

Cheers,

Pete.

Yes, that's what i needed to know! However, using a fill to cover up the lines you don't want to see doesn't really work too well, I find. Ah well.

You could use a patch instead, which takes a copy of all the data enclosed in a marquee and converts it into an opaque area where the 2d lines and fills retain the correct line weights/ colours of the copied elements. You could then modify this to get it to display exactly how you want.

Pete.
