I was wondering if anyone have got there upgrade yet

Installed today-seems faster, even on my old machine. However, when opening a V11 file in V12, the cabinets are messed up. (That's using the Archicad 11 migration library). Has anyone noticed?

Received it yesterday, 7/24.

Up and running without a glitch so far.
Smoothest transition I've had.
Now I am trying to figure out what has changed...
Speed a bit better for sure when sketch rendering and opening elevations...

the dmg is not the same as the dvd .... the dvd doesn't have the goodies the download did. I have no idea why....

Odd that your dmg had the Goodies - perhaps it was assembled by GS AUS, since GS has never bundled the goodies in the dmg throughout beta and final release. They were always a separate download, just as they are once AC is installed (Help > ...Goodies). The dmg is supposed to be the same as the MacTel (or PPC) portion of the DVD folder tree...

Glad I'm not in tech support. 😉

As follow up to my post last week, I had the same problems upgrading to AC-12 using the Mac PPC installer.

Graphisoft-US was quick to follow up by directing me to a download (dmg). It was one of the largest downloads I've ever received requiring over an hour on high-speed internet, but it installed correctly.

The Wibu key didn't update correctly but we figured out that some browsers don't (or won't) accept the upgrade site's certificates.

Couldn't tell if there were more goodies or not, since I couldn't see the DVD content very well.

Finally Daniel Pon at Graphisoft-US Tech Support, who was most helpful, emailed the following message on the 24th:

'Mark, there seemed to be an error on the PPC installer on this round of disks. We will have new disks sent ASAP. We apologise for the inconvenience.'

I thought I would share this and I'm presently starting to work with AC12.

Just tried to print for the first time and can't seem to get the MASTER ITEMS to print.

I was sure that they were there on Friday (visible on screen), but today after trying to print to pdf file, I can no longer even see the master items. I go to the master sheet and they are there. I checked the ON SCREEN OPTIONS and it is checked to SHOW them, but they are not visible.

Seems like there is an easy answer, but I can't seem to find it.

there is some weird issue whereby the layers get a little screwed if you've opened layouts and master layouts in succession. it's intermittent and i never quite caught it properly during beta.

close all of your master layout windows, reset the layers for the layout environment and then update any drawings you have placed on master layouts using the drawing manager. (you may also need to 'rebuild' your layout that had the issue).
