colours AND vectorial fills in elevations

hello everyone. i have a question regarding coloured elevations in AC10. i had a look at the website and saw some lovely elevations showing both vectorial hatching and coloured background (e.g. a red wall with brick hatching on it). is this possible now? i have been looking for hours for the relevant post and although there are some threads on the matter, i haven't yet seen the solution.

also, the elevations on the website showed gradient fills (e.g. sky from light blue to dark blue - is this easy to achieve?

when is somebody going to write an easy to understand manual! :cry:
