curved stairway

I am just getting started with 3d modelling in archicad 11. I want to make stairs with a curved landing at the top. What is the easiest way to accomplish this? Also, how do I modify windows. I need to draw a casement window that looks like a Koble casement. The casement in the Archicad library looks similar, but I would need to modify the color and a few other things.

A good idea would be to read about these issues in the Help files and Reference manual.

A nice place to be, apparently. Where you don't have to do any work yourself. Others do it al for you

Patrick:

I would just use the Slab Tool.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

This might better illustrate my issue. I need to make a metal staircase and I don't want the staircase to have a 90 degree spiral at the top. I don't want it to be a squared off turn at the top of the landing. In this picture, I love the way the staircase at the top looks, but I want it to continue with the same design towards the first floor. I have only been using Archicad for about a month, so it might be something simple I am overlooking.

Have you tried to use Stairmaker? You can select the "L-Run Winder at Upper End" stair type as a base and configure it to look like the top part of your stair (handrails etc) and then you can fillet its corners to make the turn look like a part from a spiral staircase. Screenshot below.
