I don't think so, but why would you want to?
if you don't want to use that feature, you can still just have everything set to the same renovation status

Yes it doesn't really matter. I just make sure that my template is set to 'exsting status' and 'show all elements' then I just ignore it.
It occurred to me actuallly that you might be able to use this feature to show different design options for a new project though I haven't actually used the renovation display options yet so not sure how well this would work. Might have to look at this sometime.
