how to navigate in AC on a Mac

Hi,

I just converted from PC to Mac and I am currently working on an iMac 27".
Fantastic screen to work on!

But, I miss a couple of buttons on my mouse 😉
On a PC-mouse I could press the centre (scroll)-button and the cursor would turn into a hand, and I could drag around to navigate.
I dont have this button on my new magic mouse. How do I do this on a Mac?

PS: Are any of you working with a magic mouse? I'm having a hard time getting use to it. I think it's pretty awefull to work with.
I guess it will come with time though... What do you think about it?

Thanks,
Dan

MagicPrefs is what you need, then assign 2-finger click to "Middle Click"

You aren't limited to using the Magic Mouse if you don't like it - almost any USB mouse can be plugged into a Mac and work immediately.

I use a Magic Mouse and quite like it, but not everyone does. Like Stuart, I use MagicPrefs. It helps if you don't rest other fingertips on the mouse surface when you intend to click with a specific finger, e.g. don't rest your left finger on the mouse when you're intending to right-click. The surface is effectively a tablet, so it registers the touch of any number of fingers.

Thanks for tips!
I've downloaded and installed MagicPrefs, seems lika a great app.
But, I can't get this middle click to work.

If I check the "One Finger Middle Axis Click" as a middle click, that should do the work for me, right?
But when I do press the Middle axis when I'm in AC I don't get to navigate, but widgets appears! If I change the middle click to f.eks a three finger click, widgets punches me in the face again.
How do I "uncheck" this shortcut for widgets?

When I'm in MagicPrefs working in Graphics, 3D, CAD preset, all I have to do is "export current settings into the preset", right?

Thanks a lot for the help guys!
