scaling fills

The fills scale in proportion to the current scale. It's not individually controllable (though it would be kind of nice if they were).

It sounds like you just need to create a fill that scales with the plan. Quite a poor term come to think of it, because in your case it will scale with the section.

Can you even see that fill at 1/8" scale? I would design it for the 1/2" and just ignore it at 1/8.
