sloping roofs

working in AC11 , i have a house design that is 2 separate buildings each building is on different ground levels. i have stairs connecting the 2 buildings on the outside of the house and now want to create a covered walk way from one building to the next, but the roof has to be angled so that it joins the upper level roof to the lower level roof.
i have played and played and played.
but cant get it.

any advice?

Try it in the 3D window. Follow the prompts in your Status Bar.

A picture would be worth... well about 1k words.

You need to RTFM about automatically extending/joining roofs. If you get the hang of it, it's as easy in 2D as in 3D. I'd give you the exact page but am working in 12 at the moment. Good luck.
