Can you show us a screen shot? One thing I don't understand is how you have "turned the layer line color to white" as line color is not determined "bylayer" (as it is with the software that shall not be named
) Your SEO operator elements should hide if the layer they are on is turned OFF. The only layer that cannot be turned off is the Archicad layer.

S2uart - maybe he means he's turned the layer to show as wireframe and then changed the pen colour to white. in which case it can't be the archiCad layer as this can't be turned to wireframe. AFAIK anyway...
but yeah, a screen shot would help...

Thanks for looking into this with me. Mark is correct, I created an SEO layer and made it wireframe with a white pen color. my objects are roofs and trim up the individual standing seam roofing member which are beams. Here's a screen shot of me attempting to hide the layer. It didn't work.

That is a bug; try instead to hide the layer from the file menu:
Document>Layers>Layer Extras>Hide Layer
Better yet, have a layer combination(s) where the SEO layer is off as part of your template.

Can I pick up this topic just a little bit?
I'm having some trouble With hiding my roof. When I hide the layer, and change to a different storie, then back to the one I were in when hiding the layer, it comes back as if nothing where ever hidden. In this case it's a roof, but I have the same behaviour wether it's walls or roofs. Is there a check-box or something I don't know about?
And the weird thing is, that the same behaviour is seen when I uncheck the Override Cut Fill - Box. Once I change the floor its checked again..
Any good tips??
Thanx, Thag

Thag:
Both the Layer Combination and Model View Option is set by the View, so if you have been changing stories by double-clicking the View in the View Map (not the Project Map) in the Navigator, the Layer Combination and MVO (as well as other settings) get reset to their saved settings.
