v17 roof tool + stories below

the roof tool doesn't seem to work properly.

I’ve got a roof with a cover fill (Sheet Roof) & it is set to Custom 'Show on Stories":
• Outline to show to 3 stories down
• Cover fill to show on Home Story only.

on the home story, the outline looks fine, but 1 story below, the outline is still shown as a solid line. 2 stories below the Home Story, it finally shows the dashed line.

the cover fill is even weirder. on the home story it shows fine. but 1 story below the cover fill still shows up & is finally gone 2 stories below. what's weirder is that sometimes the cover fill doesn't show up at all. i have to select the roof, open it's settings, change nothing, click OK, then finally the Cover fill shows up -- on the Home story & the story below which i didn't want.

i did a New & Reset but it didn't fix anything.

any help is much appreciated.

I think you will need to check the settings for the Floor Plan Cut Plane for the stories below the Home story.
