Dear All,
Starting with macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Apple has a new policy about Kernel Extensions. When you try to install ARCHICAD, BIMcloud or the License Manager Tool, you get the following warning during installation: “System Extension Blocked”. With the Kernel Extension blocked, our software cannot communicate with the CodeMeter Hardware key.
To help enabling the Kernel Extension on all computers, we have recreated, tested and replaced the Mac version of our ARCHICAD 21, BIMcloud 21 and LMT installers on our Download site and Electronic Delivery sites. The new installers include an additional dialog that helps enabling the CodeMeter Kernel Extension on macOS 10.13 (see attached).
This dialog will be visible only for those, who are on 10.13 and haven’t installed the CodeMeter driver before. (The issue doesn’t affect Macs that were migrated from an older OS and already had ARCHICAD and the CodeMeter driver installed.)
The new installers are available in the following language versions: AUS, AUT, BRA, FRA, GER, HUN, INT, ITA, NED, NOR, NZE, POL, POR, SPA, RUS, UKI and USA.
The rest of the language versions are released including this warning in the first place.
We will get back to you with further macOS 10.13 High Sierra compatibility information later this year.
