Component Schedule issue

Hi everyone, I need some help with an Archicad 29 Component Schedule issue.

I'm creating a Component Schedule to extract individual composite (Slab) skin volumes (Concrete, Plaster, Insulation, etc.). The schedule correctly displays each component's Net Component Volume, but when I create a Property Expression for calculating cement, sand, and aggregate quantities, the expression only recognizes the Element Net Volume instead of the Component Net Volume.

The problem is that "Component Volume" is available as a Schedule Field, but it does not appear in the Property Expression parameter list, so my calculations are based on the total slab volume instead of the individual component volume.

Has anyone found a workaround for using Component Net Volume inside Property Expressions, or is this a limitation of Archicad's Expression Engine?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi,

to my knowledge this isn’t yet possible. I also found a semi-abandoned wish on the wishlist addressing this request: https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/Wishlist/Need-of-component-properties-in-expressions/idi-p/63230...

you can maybe try to work around it somehow (setting up a different property that is a fraction or the exact height of each finish from a composite), and then do an expression that multiplies that by the area.
