hmmm... weird
it is happening on 3 different machines (at least)... each one with a different "patch" number (970, 1040 and 1114)
seems odd that all of them would need reinstalling

yukioMishima wrote:I just tried it, and I have the same "problem". However, it seems the views maintain the correct scales that I set. It is just the display of the scale in the lower left hand corner that remains unchanged. If you click it though, it shows that the scale is correct in the pop up window. I think this must be a small bug that doesn't affect the actual work.
thomas
here are the steps i follow:
- create independant section @ 1:100 (shows up in navigator>prohect map)
- swap over to navigator>view map
- save current view as section 1:100
- save a seconf current view... this time setting scale to 1:50
both views source the original independant section create in step 1
however.... even though the view setting show the scales are different... when i activate the view... the scale in the bottom left of the drawing window still says that the view is set to the same scale as the drawing in the project map
i hope that this is clear
anyone?
thanks

f anyone could jot down step by step instructions that need to be followed to get this to work i would greatly appreciate it (or review the ones that i posted earlier and let me know if/where i am going wrong)

Dennis
thanks for the reply
correct me if i am wrong...... but you will notice that the scale does NOT change.... it is particulary noticeable if you have text on each of the drawings (at different scales)... text is the best way of verifying that the view scale is fixed to the saved drawing scale and does not change between the 2 saved views
please test and the confirm/deny if you get a minute
