Attribute Manager AC 11, append/overwrite modifies Pen Set?

AC 11 USA 1210. It happened to me when bringing in complex profiles yesterday, and layers today. When I hit 'Overwrite' or 'Append' a layer, say, the list of tasks shows 'create' a layer and 'modify' a pen set.
