Finding & Selecting

Is there a way (for the purpose of huge models) after finding a layer & see where the layer is located according to the story, view, or layout...or is the only way having to go to each view & clicking "find & select" until the item with that layers appears. In other words it would be neat if we selected a layer & find & select pointed us to the location to find the items on that layer...

If I understand you correctly, you can use the Quick Layers to isolate a layer -- does this help?

You can use find and select in the 3D window, but it doesn't really identify what storey items are on, unless you can deduce that from their elevation. And on a very large project this may be unfeasible anyway...

Unless it's lots of stories, I would just keep the Find and Select dialogue open, and keep going up (SHIFT+F2) or down (CTRL/CMD+F2)systematically, pressing the + button.

This may not help Veleda... but with tracker turned on... it should show which story a selection is on (in the 3D window).
