HOTLINK MODULE

All,
I have a bit of a problem working with Hotlink modules.

I made my hotlink mod and after placing them in my archicad file the whole project goes sooo sloow.. The selection with the mouse it lags few seconds before selecting aything.
Please help...let me now if there is a trick to make my element selections going faster!!! Thank you

I don't know of anything particular to hotlinked modules that causes slowdowns. If the modules include a lot of complexity and/or there are many copies placed in the project this could slow things down. What are your hardware specs, project scope, etc?

Dear Mathew,
The delay is not related to the redraw speed is for selecting items throughout the drawing.
The mouse is jumping and lags on selection.

It may go away, but I guess need to deal with that...I needed to know if anybode else had the same problem.

Hi,
Check your SNAP option. It may turn on SNAP to GRID ????

Do you have "Trace" on? If what you are tracing has a different layer combo then your active view you can experience what you describe.
