Hotlink to PLN

I have a site file in which a building file is linked as a hotlink. We accidentally over wrote the building file and so now the only place a model of the building exists is as a hotlink.

Is there a way to import or detach or unlink or something so that we can get the building back as its own editable file?

The building is not huge but it has a complex shape and I would love to not have to draw it again.

Have you tried to explode the hotline in the Module settings? This will delete the module and replace them with individual editable elements.

Then you can save out those elements and recreate the pln\mod. file for the building.
